Dillon Bowerman

Dillon was one of the Jets Rookies for 2019. A promising left hander the Jets hoped to develop Dillon into a relief pitching option, Dillon unfortunately failed to make the first team and left after just one season.

Martyn House

Martyn had just one season with the Club in 2019 and although he didn’t play for the team many times, outside of playing, Martyn helped with the Club’s media publications.

Lee Sargent

Along with Chris Taylor, Lee was the only other Jet to feature in every game of the 2018 season although he had to withdraw from many with niggling injuries. Lee predominantly played third base although he also featured in the outfield and tried his hand at relief pitching. His back injury unfortunately has seriously reduced his playing role but Lee added coaching and training duties to his role in 2020 and looks to coach the side full time in 2021.

Dave Hepworth

2019 Rookie Dave quickly established a reputation as a big power hitter and improved every week as he learned more about the game and it’s tactics. Dave wowed his teammates in his first ever game when he accomplished an incredibly rare feat. Facing the Bristol Bats in his first ever At-Bat, Dave crushed a home run over the left field fence!

Richard Hall

Gdynia Rich’s Walk on Song:

A right handed outfielder Rich Hall is a very popular Club member who trains hard every week and works hard to improve his hitting and his catching in the outfield (when he manages to stay on his feet that is!). Rich transferred to the Bristol Bats for one game and played against the Jets getting a hit, stealing 4 bases and scored 2 runs against his old teammates earning himself the nickname “Big Stick Rich” from his new Bristol teammates!

David unfortunately missed a great deal of the 2018 season due to a broken leg he suffered in training. He battled back to fitness however and his dedication and hard work in training was noticed by the coaching staff and earned David a place in the starting lineup. Hopefully David will continue to improve and with more confidence will carry over his improving skills into the new season.

Jimi was surprised to be given the honour of leading off the Jets 2019 season and has also attended an umpires course and umpired a couple of the Jets home games last season.

Roger Saddington

Joining the Jets midway through the 2018 season, Roger has certainly proved his worth to the team especially with his determined and reliable batting performances, no more so than at Plymouth in his debut season, when as the team’s last man up, he hit safely to keep the game alive and avoid an unwanted Jets shutout!
